Tenebrae 2 (2010)
Digital photographs of performance to camera, series of 8.
The images use reflected shadows, twice-removed from the performer's physical body, and intentionally tenuous in their indexing of presence.
Tenebrae is Latin for shadows or darkness, here also connoting the breakdown of old certainties before new understandings emerge.
Tenebrae 1 (2009)
Digital photographs, series of 16.

Tenebrae is Latin for shadows or darkness, here connoting the breakdown of previous certainties before the emergence of new meaning.
